What time will he run
sub 13:30?
nah
I'm thinking about going to go see this. Should be exciting. 13:15!
This would be worth watching. Should have some other fast folks too
I'd be shocked if he ran under 13:40. This will be a controlled effort in a weak field, to be followed by a training session.
He should be thinking sub 13:10 based on his 12:56 from Aug. 13:30 or slower would be bad for him. He needs the speed to wind World XC.
when and where is this?
As I rememeber it, he already blogged that he was training through this and wouldn't be going all out.
Besides, remember he opened his outdoor campaign up in Canada last year with like a 13:34.
hey Ritz, watch out for those freshman walk-on's
13:08:54
13:42
I asked him on his blog.
He told us to not expect anything big, as this race is a part of his training. He will be running with a pack of training partners as a workout.
I dont expect anything amazing. The conditions last year for his AR were outstanding. I dont know if he can duplicate that kind of effort again. I suspect he will run 13:45ish...but I wont be surprised if he doesn't break 14 (not because he is out of shape or in worse condition, but because he hasn't been racing and his training is probably very different right now).
Seattle, UW Invitational, Dempsey Indoor, 1/29/10 and 1/30/10.
Partially medicated with a 70% chance of excuses.

Watch out for the freshman walk-on's what? You didn't finish your sentence, sillyboy.

Not saying I agree with it, but that was pretty funny.
And I'll put in another vote for 13:4x. Isn't UW the oversized track?
DNF. This is strictly a pay day for Ritz.
I think he will break 13 minutes and run 12 minutes 94 seconds. All bets are off if there is any ice cream spilled on the basketball court. Then I'd say he will probably go for the shot put throw into the pole vault pit instead.
I just love all these Nastradamus prediction threads. Where's Edward Casey when you need him?
