Can anyone who has the Lunaracer 2 please clarify how the 2 differs to the 1 regarding room in the forefoot? I ordered the 1 a few weeks ago from runnerswearhouse and found it too narrow in the forefoot and am wondering if I should try the 2 now...

I LOVE the Lunaracer and recently tried on the Lunaracer 2. It is really a totally different shoe in my opinion. The forefoot is definitely different. I found the forefoot to be even smaller than the Lunaracer 1...we even tried going up a half size, but it did not help. I just switched brands, I'm tired of Nike's BS with ruining/discontinuing great racing flats...
The LunarRacer 2 is about 25% heavier than the LunarRacer. I picked up a pair of LR1's from runningwarehouse.com this week for $50. They don't have much left.
What do you expect from a jogging shoe company?

What the hell company did you switch to? The only one I can think of that doesn't alter their shoes on an annual basis is Brooks.
