Walmart jewelry dept will replace it for the cost of the battery.
Thanks! Unfortunately im not close to a walmart. Are there any other stores that will replace it? Like a walgreens or cvs?
Shopko does. Pretty much any major chain that was a 'jewelery and watch' department.
A jewelry store or most any department store with a jewelry counter (e.g. K-Mart, Target) will replace it. Our local CVS will sell you the battery but you'll have to replace it yourself. If you have a proper screwdriver it's not hard to do.
Shop around a bit. Prices range from 6 or 8 dollars to 20 bucks for the same battery. Malls are the highest in this area.
Drugstore or grocery store. Often they are the CR2025 battery....cost is about a dollar or two for the battery. If you have a small screwdriver and some mechanical ability it's pretty easy to replace it yourself.
go to a watch shop.
Hey, what time is it when your watch stops working?
I've replaced batteries on some watches before, but ruined my first Timex Ironman in the attempt. It was mechanically more finicky than most. Now I take it and my "civilian" watch to the jeweler near my office - they don't charge much more than I could buy the battery.
