I can't believe that the BroJos even posted this on their site.
It seems like some recreation biker wrote the piece and got a couple of quacks to provide quotes to support the stupidity.
I believe that I read an article on the Mammoth Lakes group and it said that the warm-down was the most important part. The hour after a workout was important because they wanted to get back to "good" as soon after a workout.
I know as a runner myself, the warm-down DOES make me feel better the next day and increases recovery. Also, strides post-run do a great deal for me.
I am writing this to see what other people think about it. I am a HS coach and will not be stopping by athletes from doing workout after reading this. I think it is a bunch of BS.
