I'm going to say 26 seconds.

She's going to need a good kick to beat Hasay. Did you see last year's foot locker championship race?

Haven't you watched Jenny run over the past couple of years? There are very few (maybe none) professional distance runners who can out kick Barringer let alone a Freshman in college.
Not even sure that Hasay will be top ten at NCAAs.
You must be a troll
Buffafalo Jenny Barringer FTMFW. (Especially after getting Deer Kara Goucher's course record.)
She is by FAR the overall fave. She will do a Sally Kipyego-type race and get after it early. Will the UW gals or others give chase?? Probably not. The team title will keep some of the top teams from ripping into it too early. Hold back until after 3k and charge home. By then JB is clear & she won't come back.

Seriously. With all the hype I think many are expecting top 5. As a frosh top 10 would be a good showing for her.
It will be a race for second. The girl from the Netherlands on Fl. State may try to stay up with Barringer, as she did with Sally last year, but the results will be the same.
JENNY BARRINGER IS A BEAST AND GOING TO WIN NCAA YALL.NO ONE CAN STICK WITH HER YADIDEAMEAN???JORDAN HASAY IS NOT GOING TO BE NEAR HER!!!!!! AND WILL NEVER BE!!!!!!!!!!!
Are you serious??? wrote:

sarcasm =/= trolling
Kuijken will be there, right? She's not exactly terrible? Jenny will probably be thrilled to win by 12 seconds.
Barringer's prenats PR is 19:49, but she redshirted last year and is much improved. Kuijken ran prenats in 19:48 last year and went :34 at finals.
Unless the weather and conditions are catastrophic, I expect Barringer to be under 19:10 and I doubt anyone else will be under 19:30.

Is this a joke? Why dont you take a look at the NCAA indoor 3k results when Kuijken tried to stay with Barringer and the gap that formed. Now add 3,000 more meters. (By the way, there was a 14 second gap in the 3k)
Hasay is going to crush Barringer. My guess is Hasay will have a 16 second lead on her.
NO ONE, and I mean NO ONE is going to touch Duck Jordan Hasay. Buffalo Jenny Barringer, Seminole Susan Kuijken and Husky Kendra Schaaf don't have high school records do they?
'nuff said
Barringer's records crush Hasay's records. 'nuff said.
If Barringer runs 19:10 and Kuijken matches last year's 19:34, that's 24 seconds. I'd like to think Kuijken can trim a little off that.
Too bad this isn't still High School, then maybe she would have a chance. Hasay will be lucky to be top 20.

Maybe she can use her great kick from USA's back in June

diestatee is trolling
barringer's 5k splits in a 10k would be PRs for hasay
I say she has a tough time against Kendra Schaaf at NCAAs. Schaaf is on a mission this year and is an excellent XC runner

Well first of all she will not be running head to head with Kendra as they are in different races. But Barringer's time will be at least 35 seconds faster than kendras. Mark My Word.
