I'm a sophomore in hs and have flat feet or as close to it as possible. I run up to 50 mile weeks but don't wear insoles for arch support.
Could this come back to haunt me?

It won't hurt you right away but pay close attention to how your body is feeling. If you start getting muscles that are tighter than normal or start having some inflammation and or pain in your joints then you need to start thinking about getting some support. Letting little things like this slide is a huge cause of injury in many runners. One way to help yourself avoid injuries that might result from this is actually by running some barefoot but I wouldn't do much more than 10 min. at a time at first. I have been running the last 10-15 min barefoot 2-3 times a week for a long time and my feet and ankles are much better for it. Doing this should help you gain the foot and ankle strength necessary to avoid injury (just be sure it doesn't injure you in the process). Best of luck.
