My friend Matt Capeluto ran 2:18 and change at Lasvegas in 2001 following the program very closely. I would say that qualifies as fast.

A guy named Pete Pfitzinger ran some pretty good times using those workouts, but I was told he mixed in a couple of Daniels workouts in there so I don't know how that affected the program.
