very poised, informative and mature young woman.
Who isn't excited to see her race tomorrow? She is going to do great and hopefully dip under 15 minutes. My prediction - 14:55.
Who woulda thought i learned willard wasn't going to double from a barringer interview.

She went 15:01 indoors solo. I hope she breaks 14:50.
Definitely one of favorite runners right now being coached by one of the most underrated coaches in America history.
If she doesnt take Flanagan's AR, she will be dangerously close. My guess is 14:42.
If she does break 15:00, does that count as a collegiate record? She is doing XC in the fall...

I wasn't aware that distance running coaches were such a significant topic in American history.
Very very very mature young women. Wetmore is an extremely intelligent coach. Many athletes that are currently running well in the European meets are going to struggle to hold their form through the rounds of world champs. If her training is going well then I expect her to be competitive for a medal in Berlin.
I don't think it'll be an NCAA record, but T&F News would recognize it as a collgiate record from out-of-season competition.
The ethios better be scared - Barringer is a high altitude trained deamon ready to battle!
How is Wetmore an "underrated coach"?
any guy over 50 that is balding in front and wears a gray ponytail in back looks like a douche bag.
I don't think Wetmore ever concerned himself with how he looks. Actions baby, actions speak louder than words.
Jenny is a well-rounded young lady who is poised to really do major damage to the U.S. record in the steeple in Berlin (9:10 or faster). I've known her and watched her compete since she was 15 and she has an uncommon will to win and reach her absolute potential. I did an interview with her around Christmas that was a relaxed format that may hold some info you'd enjoy. Check the 'Interviews' section at www.garycohenrunning.com .

He still looks like an old buffoon who is trying to look cool.
It was a good interview. She seems to be humble and cool. Besides breaking records, I hope that she can win a few gold medals (Olympics or WCs) in years to come.
