Im injured and taking time off. I finally got tired of runing though injuries and making them worse. Im considering making a switch to Nike Frees for running...(I have tried the stability shoes with supportive inserts and I still have problems). I have had Achilles problems on and off for a long time. I have read and heard people talk about how a more natural running gait and shoe selection has helped. I am currently doing eccentric heal drops and trying to stretch (below the knee) more often.
What experience have people had making the switch and did it seem to help.
P.S. I am 25 years old, about 5'10 and weight 145 lbs so im not a huge runner that will potentially destroy shoes. Especially ones that are minimalist I wouldn’t think.
