I was wondering if it would make a difference to wear compression socks in a marathon. Two years ago I was is pretty good shape and on pace for a sub 2:30 through 20 miles and my calves started cramping bad and I lost 10 minutes in the last 10k. I'm planning on running a fall marathon and was wondering if I should consider getting a pair of compression socks to help make sure I don't cramp up this time. Please let me know your opinion.
