I would say off top of head and in no order:
The Terminator
The Terminator II
Heat
Raiders of Lost Ark
Sequel - blanking on name
Bullit
thinking of others

The opening of "Cliffhanger" (currently on hulu.com) is pretty tight.
The original Matrix had some pretty sick (right, Wejo?) action scenes.
I'm surprised that "The French Connection" isn't on your list. I don't know if it's one of the most intense -- I don't watch a lot of those kinds of films -- but it's one of the most famous.
Futuristic films heavy on special effects and computer animation are sort of in a separate category.
So I'll stick with "Road Warrior"

Although the fight scenes were not frequent throughout the movie, "A HISTORY OF VIOLENCE" had some extremely intense fights in it. That repeated heel of the hand to the nose scene was horrific.
Those are entire movies, not specific scenes. What exactly is your question?
Space Marines in Aliens?
Car chase in Ronin
Car chase in French Connection
House of Blue Leaves scene in Kill Bill vol 1
Subway scene in the Untouchables
The scourging scene in Passion of the Christ
when "Blade Runner" Deckard is hanging off the roof of the Blackbury Building trying avoid his inevitable death by the powerful relicant Roy Batty.
Kill Bill
I don't normally enjoy movie violence all that much, but I love this movie. Maybe because it's a woman kicking ass in Onitsuka Tigers.

Interesting. My wife hates movies with even a little violence but she loved the Kill Bills and Death Proof (When Kurt Russell gets his ass kicked by the ladies)

The chase scene includes an actual accident that happened during filming.
there are several amazingly realistic action scenes in Children of Men. the two that probably stand out the most are the groundbreaking car chase scene (they developed a new camera rig that gave 360 degree perspective inside the car during the chase), and the final battle scene (during which the camera follows clive ownen for 10 minutes or more virtually uncut as he runs and dodges through a war zone. if anyone hasn't seen this film buy the dvd asap and definitely check out the special features - awesome stuff.
If you're really keying on the word intense, several scenes in No Country for Old Men are up there.
that fight scene in "Eastern Promises" has always struck me as incredibly violent and disturbing.
