I'm a bigger guy and I'll be running the Boston Marathon on Monday looking to run 3 hours or under. What does everyone think about shoe selection for the race? Should I wear a lightweight training shoe (ie: DS trainer or Nike Skylon) or something well cushioned like the Vomero 3? My thinking was that the downhill first half of the race will really kill my big quads if I wear something minimal and I might want a shoe to absorb it better. I have a few different pairs of shoes that are all pretty well broken in so that isn't an issue. Advice is very welcomed!
