Ok this may sounds worse than it is, but I am 190+ lbs (85+ kg). Reason for that is my height with 6'6" (196cm). I also overpronate. Usually run between 40 and 50 miles a week (2h38m Marathon PR). Have been running for ages, usually in 21xx and sometimes Kayanos. Oh, and they are Size 14.
I realized that after all those years that I may look into wearing something lighter/less bulkier and also browsed through the thread at

I never got injured from running in Spikes.
I just bought a DS Trainer IX and it feels great but I notice that they have quite a bit less support for my overpronation.
Do you guys think that a guy my built (and the big feet) should rather be careful with flats/lightweight trainers? I mean, it is pretty obvious that a size 14 shoe can never support against pronation as good as, say, a size 9 shoe.
Any thoughts?
