Any reviews of the Saucony A2?
I have been in the Fast Twitch for a couple of generations for my last couple of marathons and was thinking of switching to the A2, but I am concerned it is too light for 26.2 miles racing.

Great shoe for up to 13.1 distance. I didn't feel it had the cushioning for 26.2 distance. The slip lasted tongue is a great feature, that keeps everything snug. Plus, since it is marketed to the tri-crowd, anytime you run through a puddle, water drains straight out of it (for real).
They are great if you want a more protective racing shoe. The Fasttwitch is more cushioned but the A2 is more responsive (and not overly minimal). Do some test runs in them and they will be your new favorite shoes.
Great shoe, very minimal and responsive but still has some nice cushioning. Careful as fits half a size larger than the fastwitch which is true to size.
Doesn't feel as low to the ground as other racers but certainly not a built up heel, the upper is very minimal and the tongue gives excellent wrapping like the above poster said (that sounds gay).
Not sure what last poster means as fastwitch is more protective than the type a2s imo.

How does it compare with the Nike Lunar Racer+?
Mine wore out VERY quickly. The heel cup was also stiff and uncomfortable. I prefer the T6.
I really like the A2s for a it's light weight and responsiveness. Although I would say if you have had success in the fastwitch that you should stay in them as they have some posting compared to the A2s neutral footing. But if your looking for a neutral shoe then I would suggest this shoe.
I have enjoyed the A2s so far, however, my first run in them was absolutely miserable. There is no heel notch which gave me really bad cuts on both of my achilles, unfortunately, right before the eugene marathon. If anyone else has any problems like this, I would recommend getting some vaseline if you run sockless or in low cut socks. The other option is to make a cut in the heel of the shoe to relieve some of the pressure. The brooks ST 4\'s are really good marathon shoes, along with the T6\'s make for good racing flats.
