My running clothes smell pretty bad after running in them only a couple times, and some of them even seem to smell bad after I wash them. Do you guys know any secrets to help out with this?

What's wrong with having them smell bad?
Run in a gray cotton t-shirt, use plenty of bleach, Tide Ultra, and plenty of hot water. And don't forget to wear the Asics Gel-Nimbus and do all your running on concrete.
Win Detergent. It's a bit expensive but it does work. Very well.

Take a bath. Use soap.
Run slower so you don't sweat. Based on your race results that have been published online, I suggest going from a 9:35/mile average down to about a 10:15/mile. That oughta do it.
with your regular detergent wash them with white distilled vinegar....i put in half a cup to a cup per load. Its only a couple of bucks per gallon.
Wash them.
