he was damn close many times last year. congrats to him
German Fernandez won that race.
It was a pretty close finish. That is a nice PR for Centro.
Here is the finish video
So how many sub 4 milers does Oregon have right now?

Good thing it wasn't a partial mile.
Until he actually does it Rupp needs to be scratched from that list. I will be the first to say he can and should be running that, given the last two weeks performances. Local talent Greer will be the coup though, man they keep churning em' out here in state, fairly soon the big O could be a national threat with all "local" talent.
Also, I believe that makes the Matt Centrowitzes the second father/son pair to go sub 4 after Darren Brown did it last spring.
This was Matt's first time under 4 technically, right?

Yeah, I was more stating that Rupp is at the level rather than in the books. They are also getting that San Diego kid who won the BIG high school mile and I believe he is a good 800 meter runner.
yeah this was the first official sub 4 full mile. last year he had a few at 4:00.xx and 4:01.
vin was pumped. good to see the enthusiam
i think the Keinos did the father/son sub 4 feat long ago.
Kip/Martin

You're right. I meant to say the second American pair, but I forgot to add that qualifier.
Bob quit running early, but I believe he had a 3:42 or 3:41 under his belt as a sophomore. Not sure if he got in a mile and hit the real mark.
Does anyone else think Donny Sage looks fat? God, I idolized that kid when he was at York and Stanford.
Well let's see.....
Centrowitz: 3:57 mile
Wheating: 3:58 mile, 3:38 1500
Acosta: 3:58 mile, 3:40 1500
McNamara: 3:41 1500
Rupp: 4:01 mile, 3:43 1500
Kiptoo-Biwott: 3:43 1500, 4:01 mile
Scott Wall: 3:43 1500
JK Withers: 4:03 mile
Klotz: 4:04 mile
That looks like the personal best list for their top guys. Not sure if McNamara has actually run sub-4 in a mile, but has run 3:41, 3:42 multiple times in the 1500, and his personal 1500 best is 3:41.13
Also for Kiptoo-Biwott, he rarely runs 1500/mile, so not sure if he has actually run sub-4 either.

that's a good idea, who has it and where was it set?
My guess would be Arkansas @ Penn Relays.
How is a full mile different than a mile?
