Currently wearing Brooks Defyance, before that I wore Brooks Radius.
Trying to find a different neutral shoe to try out. Looking into Brooks Ghost but can be something other than Brooks. I run between 50-70 mpw, mostly roads.
Any suggestions?

I dunno man, do some research. I doubt there are many shoe experts here.
The Defyance is pretty stiff/firm, whereas the ghost has a bit more give in the heel. Almost like a lighter-weight glycerin. My guess is you would like either the defyance or ghost, not both.
You might want to try the Nike Pegasus. Similar amount of firmness to the defyance, only a tiny bit heavier, and similar durability from what I've seen.
The New Balance 757 would also be a good choice on paper. Obviously, whatever you go with is going to come down to fit/feel.
Anyone try the new Nike Pegasus?
I suggest the ASICs Gel Nimbus 10. Good neutral ride, forefoot flexibility, long lasting and frequently recommended by The Concrete Runner.
try the adidas adiStar Ride! It has great forefoot cushioning and a smooth transition.
you can check out the pegasus or nimbus at any Sports Authority
I really can't see anyone who likes the Defyance liking the Nimbus. And in my experiences, selling those shoes for a few years now, the Nimbus packs out fairly quickly. The gel is never going to lose its rebound, but the midsole definitely airs out as it is pretty low-density EVA to begin with.
If anything, based on your past shoes of choice, I would look at something a bit lower profile from Asics, maybe the Landredth or the Cumulus.
The new Pegs are still great. I have used them as one of my main daily training shoes of choice since 2005. Since 06, the feel has been about identical year-to-year. They've come a long way since 04/05.

Matthews, you know I run in both the defyance and the ghost, and like them both. Why are you always trying to put me down?
I decided to check out the Pegasus, there was a deal on roadrunnersports.com.
Thanks for the help.
