Does anyone actually train in them? I've seen a lot of people just wearing them around, but I don't think I've seen anyone train in them.

I do, I have two pairs of 7.0 trainers with the strap...I use them for concrete, grass, and track surfaces. I'm a 200,400,800 runner and I looove them
I used to train in them. I did 60 mile weeks in them for almost a year. The 3.0s are junk and the 7.0s have way too much heel. Now I just train in flats. The Frees hurt my arches now.
I've worn them for all training for the last 3 years (45 - 50 mpw). Mainly the original 5.0s (I stocked up on them) but also the 4.0s and 3.0s, both of which are fine. The only one I don't like is the 7.0 - not a real Free at all, like the awful Free Everyday. I get at least 1000 miles out of a pair, often 1200 or more.
Heres a question:
I strike with my mid/forefoot when running. I train in the DS trainers and the Banditos.
I have low archs and do overpronate so would it be bad to train in a neutral shoe? I tried on the lunaracers and it felt like I was rolling in.
I train in them, 4 times a week: chest day, back day, arm day, leg day
