I'm interested to hear how it feels compared to the Inspire 4. Also, is Mizuno going to substantially change the Elixir 3? I certainly hope so. Loved the 2, hated the 3.

i just moved from I4 to I5. the upper is a little different (diff mesh) and it looks better but i havent noticed much of a difference in running (done a bunch of easy runs and a couple 15 milers). seems to be the same basic shoe.
i'm getting the e4s next week, i ran in some of the e4 prototypes at my local store and there were not a big change from the e3 either. i love the e3 and hated the e2 (found the transition was all wrong for my foot). they went back to the red for the e4 that they used for the early e3 vs that really nasty blue they had on the later ones.
Thanks for the info. Glad to hear the I5 isn't changing much. The ride of the E3 wasn't a problem, it was the collar of the upper near the ankle bone on the lateral side that rubbed until I bled every time. Ouch. Otherwise I loved that shoe.
Any knowledge of a new or updated stability racing flat from mizuno? Even though it was a neutral flat, god what I wouldn't give for a pair of the old Idatens. Absolutely perfect shoe.
I think that these are what you're looking for.
