I am going to be going through the KC area on my way back to college and am going to be buying a relatively cheap pair of racing flats for the track season (I was thinking Nike Mayflys). Are there any stores in the area that sells them? Help would be greatly appreciated.
Garry Gribble's Running Sports. He has 4 stores now, one near the Independence Mall, one at Ward Parkway, one on 119th and Quivera and one in Lawrence KS. He has several brands, plus he carries spikes. You can't find a better store.
I already tried them when I was previously in KC. They didn't have mayflys and I'm not going to spend 100s of dollars for a pair of racing flats.
I guess you don't care a whole lot about your upcoming track season to be looking for the cheapest flat you can find.

Why don't you just order them online if you already know what you want & want to get them cheap? Look at the ad that's linked in your post.
