I sure haven't seen any yet. Not even on e.bay and of course not on the Asics site. I think it'll be a week or two before they hit the stores.

I tried them on at RRS. they are a little more cushioned then the 13's. They have that stupid lacing system and really bothers the top of my foot. If the lacing system is cool with you, then this looks like a really legit shoe. I ended up going with the Nike Zoom Elite 4.
I've been wearing the DS Trainer as my main training shoe for the past 9-10 years (but have tried many others brands over the past year).
Got a pair of the 14's last week. Supposedly they decreased the thickness of the midsole and increased the thickness of the outsole for a net increase of 1mm. The sizing is pretty much back to normal. I'm back to a size 11 1/2 (but could have gone with a size 11) after needing a size 12 in the DS Trainer 13.
Have only done a couple of short runs, but so far they feel okay overall. They feel a little more roomy and softer this time around. I'm doing 14m tomorrow and should have a better feel for then. I've been looking forward to this new version for a while. My initial reaction is that they are just average for the DS Trainer series, but need a few more runs to see just what they can do.
I like them. I have a skinny heel low volume foot. Been running in the nb 903 but the ds 14 has more forefoot cushioning and better arch support. Went 1.5 hours to the rose parade without socks and had no problem... I ran in the ds from model 7 to 11. 12 and 13 sucked for me but I think im back, although my buddy who works for new balance says the new balance 904 will be very nice........

this use to be the greatest freaking shoe 3 yrs ago....now....it sucks!....
amen to that
And now they're back to their $110 pricing after going down $10 for version 13. DAMN!
bump. any new reviews? I also used to love this shoe in the X and XI models--it was a dream. Why don't they just reproduce those again?
Actually, they did go back to that last. It isn't the same exact shoe as the upper is different and some of the foam is different, but last is the most critical part of the shoe, and they went back to the old one.
I tried one on at the store I work at, and they are still the king of the lightweight, posted trainer category. I tried to love the Elixers, but I just can't. The new Brooks shoe replacing the Axiom this coming fall however... that's a nice shoe.
My asst coach ran in 3 pairs of the 13s and tried the 14s and with in a week he took them back. The 14s are over 10oz and the feel of the shoe while running is very different from the 13's and 12's. He took the shoe back and got the Saucony tangent and loves the tangents but still wishes he could have the 13's back. Half of my xc team wore the 13s and none of them had an injury in the 13s. I am going to miss the 13s and I am worried that the 14s are very different
I love the DS 13s also. It was the best shoe I ever owned. However, it broke down after 3 months. Is this normal? I know its a lightweight performance shoe BUT I've never had my shoes breakdown. I used 1 pair of shoes for an ironman training - so I know they should have lasted longer than that. I'd like to buy a couple of pair but can't afford to buy new shoes every 3 months?
Thoughts???

I really wish I could have the 11s back. I thought they were going to go back to the features of that model with the 14. Unfortunately it's more like the 13 except with a thicker bottom (maybe they'll hold up just a bit longer), noticably heavier and less flexible. If they would just reproduce the 10s or 11s I'm sure they'd have enough people on letsrun alone to be a market.
I train in the DS trainers also and how long a shoe takes to really break down depends mostly on total miles and time between runs. If you are rotating 2 pairs or more you'll get more miles out of each pair.
So perhaps you did more miles in those 3 months than usual? also 3 months is a pretty long time for a pair of shoes, anyone else agree or do I just plow through shoes? I usually get 1.5 months, sometimes less when I'm at peak miles.
If you can get 3 months consider yourself lucky.
I just bought the DS Trainers last weekend. They are a little heavier than the 13s and seem a lot like the 12s. They have more cushioning than the 13s, which is good. Overall, they seem like they will last longer than the 13s.
Just go with the Speedstars
VI's and VII's...where the hell did those shoes go?
Usually I get about 9 months or more on a pair of shoes. 1.5 months - what are you doing? - running in the desert and melting your sole? I was just wondering if everyone else's 13s broke down as fast as mine.
The 12's and 13s were the same shoe except for the change in the upper with the lacing and the 13's had a better version of the solyte. The new 14s are built on the same last as the DS Trainer 7s. One of the most popular shoes of the DS Trainer line.
