Anyone here wearing this shoe? Any thoughts about it? Is it flexible? Looks ok.

I think it is a good shoe. If you have liked some past saucony's then you will really like the guide. It is more flexible than most stability shoes. I thought it wore extremely well and I had more miles on it than I usually get out of a shoe.
just got it a few days ago, have only done a couple of runs but kinda love it already. i usually run in brooks, this is my first saucony experience and i've been pleasantly surprised.
Agreed with above- the Progrid Guide is a fantastic update. Good fit (for me at least), relatively light, decent amount of stability for the weight, GREAT road feel.
I wouldn't go so far as to say it is flexible. To me, the Nike Free is flexible. I would put it in a similar category as Mizunos in terms of flexibility- a little on the stiff side, but it makes for a great toe-off.
I highly, highly endorse this shoe.
Are we talking about saucony's "the guide"? This is the new name of the old "trigon guide". (I am not sure if this is the same as the "progrid guide" which I have never heard of.
In any event, I have used guides for 3 yrs and love them. I use them for training and for races of all distances. I even have orthotics inserted in them.
My first thought of the box was that the shoe felt very narrow, but after 2 runs in this shoe, I really like it. Great cushioning, design, flexibilty.
To the OP: do you work for Saucony? I've seen threads started by Loco and Vitruvian fans who are chastised by posters for the same thing you did.
anyone tried the paramount?
Agree with Caveat Emptor 2.0
I actually own and like this shoe but I call BS on the whole thread. Never in the history of LR.com has a shoe opinion post received this many consecutive positive responses. Shame on Saucony...
