Check the 8th question:
Matt, 10K?
In the future. What do you think I could run?
Teg himself asks us to predict his time for his future 10k.
I'll go with 27:22.

here's the link http://kimbia.net/
27:03 giving him props
I remember reading an interview several years ago where Teg said he and Schumacher both thought the 10k would be his best event, but they were planning on focusing on the shorter distances for a few years.
Considering Ritz is a 13:15/27:34(?) guy, I'll say Teg can go 27:20.
If he gets his 5K to 12:55, which he can, I predict sub 27:00. Problem is, he hasn't PR'd in two years.
Am I missing something here?
The first person to say it in this thread is a triple asshole of the highest degree. Let the joke die.
I thought Teg didn't run the 10k?
He totally doesn't.
Tegenkamp does not run the 10k.
lol check out the Wikipedia article on Teg. The part about "Teg is one of the best 10k runners. unforunately he doesnt run the 10k".. someone added "This doesn't make any sense you moron" but it got editted back.
I lol'd
27:08 american record unless rupp gets it first.
now it says he gets owned bt africans on the wiki page

Not as much of an asshole as Tegenkamp for refusing to ever realize his potential at 10K. Ever.
His wiki entry is freakin hilarious. Who ever would have thought that a few simultaneous postings of 'teg doesn't run the 10k' would have resulted in one of the best, most pervasive inside jokes in LRC history?

Not yet, but he will, even said so himself.
more predictions!
Teg will run the 10k. For those of you that don't understand how to properly train, you generally stay at a shorter distance until you can maximize your potential at said event. At the time that you and\or your coach believe it's a good time to jump to the next event you do. You then drop down and race at a shorter event to make your 10k or 5k better. There is plenty of time for him to jump to the 10k so get off his back.
What would be great for letsrun is if people had their pr's attached to their name so we could laugh some of these jokers off the board.
