Anyone wear these? Do they really help? If so which ones are you wearing?

bump
...do they help what?
they do help to compress
muscle fatigue
anyone
I like the way my farts sound when I wear them.
Do they help muscle fatigue? No, I wouldn't bet on it
They help prevent hamstring pulls in cold weather, something I'm especially prone to.
They help Gary Muhrke, Gene Mitchell, and other running store owners make thier monthly car payments. :-O
this is a fantastic post, first of all.
second, depends on what running you're doing. i've sprinted and run distance, and i found that when running longer distances (at least race wise), they were annoying. as my legs got tired, it just seemed to be resisting further movement. sprint wise, i guess if you're a head case and want to feel powerful you might enjoy it.
I really think they really help me on my recovery runs. I really like the cwx ones I have.
zed is alive and farting though my compression shorts. I have various tensions in my shorts to adjust the tone of my copious wind breaking.
Do they help WHAT? I still have no idea what you're talking about ya flippin' idiots.

That's why I wear them in winter, especially on my interval workouts.
Any particular brand or model better than others?
I wear Asics compression shorts. They do the job fine, but I'm sure there are plenty of other good brands.
Are they warm?
Anytime it's between 35 and 45 degrees, pants/tights are too warm on my calves, but in shorts my junk gets cold. Do half-tights work well in that kind of whether to keep that area warm?
It is better than nothing out in the cold.
Their main function is for hurdlers and LJ/TJ jumpers. Hurdling is tough when your junk is smacking around, and the spandex helps to keep them in place. I wear spandex whenever I do hurdling drills just for comfort.
When jumping into a sand pit, the spandex just keeps you from getting all sandy downstairs.
