On the back of the newest Track and Field News is an advertisement for Muscletech's GAKIC. It has runners in the add, but when you research it a bit, most people take it when lifting. It says "clinically proven to instantly increase strength by 10.5% and proven to delay muscle fatigue by up to 28%". I went to the website and it says wada and all NCAA clears this with drug testing. On another site some guy said he took it right before a 1/2 marathon and went from 1:59 to 1:43! Has anyone taken this for workouts? It's not meant for daily use, just for stressfull days apparently. I usually just say "good diet is the way to go", but the add caught my attention.
