I hope to run around 16:10 for the 5000 and 34 for 10000, do you think I would be better off in the adidas adizero rc, Asics turbo ghost, or something else?
Thanks

Spikes for the 5k, flats for the 10k.
spikes for anything on the track... whatever is most minimal
after watching meb run 27:20? in flats at stanford, that was the final straw for me....there seems to be little room for argument that the superior cushioning of flats outweighs the benefits of spikes in race where the pace is slower than 65/lap....especially when i see women running 36min for a 10k....IN SPIKES!!! why??????
If i can turn a 55 in flats, then traction is obviously not an issue (unless its wet of course) and very few spikes have what i consider adequate cushioning. the new ventulus/matumbo is an exception to this rule. just my .02
cheers, dude.
