Yes, yes for me, no for me (racers are more stable than the trainers).
They have a removable innersole, also accomodates the Nike+ feature, extremely lightweight neutral trainer, i wouldn't call them an actual racing flat as they are too soft, great workout shoe though.
What? Half the elites were wearing them in NYC. I would call them racing flats.
Also, the trainers are a great everyday shoe and I've been using my first pair that I retired from the road at 350 miles(not worn at all but that's my rule) to the trails. Nice trail shoe for another 100 miles.
