for sure. really helps the start of your race and overall power and technique. It really improves your 100m, 200m, and 400m times.
Not for a long distance runner, no.
I imagine it has marginal benefits to a sprinter, but jumpers would probably see the most benefits from that stuff.
Its a gimmick Nike came up with to sell more crap. Plain and simple.

I was reading all about it in the newest Eastbay magazine/catalog (I love Eastbay btw, great stuff!!!). SPARQ looks really cool and really effective. Everything they say about it seems really LEGIT and if it's in Eastbay you know it's good stuff.
I think I might stop my HS XC coaches workouts and do my own 10mi runs and SPARQ on the side. Check back in May and my 32000m time will be Very fast.
SPARQ = new thinking and unlimited success for me (I'm only a soph. btw; 5:19/10:52/17:49)
The 32000m is not a common distance. How often do you actually expect to find a meet that offers that distance?
