I've got lead off leg which I gladly accept from OMBTS. I hope he makes his weekly appearance.
Because we're at the end of Fall racing, I'm hoping to hear about some solid performances this week. Although I did not race, I had two kids perform very well (15th and 16th) at the state XC Champs earlier today. Neither had ever run at the state meet before so it was an eye opener. I was proud of the way they handled themselves in the new environment.
As for me, I ran 8 X 1000 today with 200 jog. My first track workout leading up to the Spokane race. It went fair - all about 3:07. Track workouts are hard!
Tomorrow, I am planning on running long. If GaryB shows, we'll run 15. If he doesn't, I'll run 10.
