I've become halfway tempted to run a marathon on my current levels of 20-25 miles/week, with my longest run being 6 miles, mostly to see how I compare other runners in my office who run a lot of miles (50-75) but at far slower paces.
I'm 40 yrs old and currently capable of a 19 min 5k but never race beyond 5k. I feel like I could maintain at least 8-830 pace for a considerable distance but obviously. I'm not sure how my body would hold up for 26.2... although given a relatively injury-free history, I have little doubt I could complete the distance. I ran a 4:30 mile many moons ago as a high schooler, and recently ran 5:30 off of 15 or so miles a week, if that is any indication of anything.
So, just wondering what you all think my marathon time could be off of my current training. thanks for any assistance provided
