To keep a long story short, I injured my ankle last week. Regionals are on Nov.15 and I haven't been able to properly run since last Wednesday. With the increased downtime of not being able to run, I have started to have more and more sex. I noticed that when I go really hard on top I can become quite fatigued cardiovascularly, as well as in my arms, arse, and hamstrings. If I use this type of training frequently as my running replacement, will I lose a large amount of fitness prior to my next race? Also, are there any good positions that work running muscles more than others?
