I really don't know why people would not train in minimalist shoes or barefoot. It is a simple fact:
Training shoes cause your stride to be unnatural.
You can NOT run correctly with so much padding underneath your foot.
Why is it so hard for everybody else to understand? I see people plodding along in their $140 shoes that are making them INJURED and it just makes me want to cringe.
I have seen legit proof that minimalism works, but not the other way around. The only arguement I can get out of people is
"You need padding"
Why?
It is very simple. Run barefoot, the way we were created, and you will not get injured.
