I'm running my first 100-mile race in early February and I'm working on a training schedule. I've run 10 marathons, a 50K trail race and a 50-miler on the roads. I guess my real concern is my weekend long runs. I'll start the schedule 14 weeks out. I will also run a Wednesday run of 2-3 hours each week so keep that in mind. Any advice and tips will be helpful. I'm not sure if my long runs are long enough but this is what I have planned for them right now...
Week 1: 3:00
Week 2: 3:00 Saturday and 2:00 Sunday
Week 3: 3:30 Saturday and 2:15 Sunday
Week 4: 4:00
Week 5: 4:00 Saturday and 2:30 Sunday
Week 6: Trail Marathon Race
Week 7: 4:30
Week 8: 3:00
Week 9: 5:00 Saturday and 3:00 Sunday
Week 10: No long run over the weekend
Week 11: 5:00
Week 12: 3:00
Week 13: 1:30:00
Week 14: Race!
