I'm in the luck position that I can take 1-2hrs for my lunch break (and work later) so I can get my run in during daylight. That's fine for the easy runs, but after a hard run, I find I'm a bit hazy and my concentration is less good for my afternoon's work (I'm in science, and I need my brain awake!).
Do any fellow lunchtime runners have tips for quick 'mental' recovery? Coffee? Rapid post-run refuelling, any particular foods? Cold showers?
