Sun 3 Apr: 20 miles very hilly (from Canterbury to Folkestone), pm 5 miles
Mon 4 Apr: am 5 miles, pm 10 miles steady XC
Tue 5 Apr: am 5 miles, pm 3 mile warm-up, 10 x 400m times from 60 to 62 sec, 200 jog rec, 4 mile cool down.
Wed 5 Apr: 5 miles, 10 miles steady
Thur 6 Apr: Fartlek 9 miles with marathon speed efforts.
Fri 7 Apr: 6 miles XC
Sat 8 Apr: SCAAA Road relay, Wimbledon, 24.25 (distance just over 5 miles) – took Invicta into the lead which we kept to win the event for the first time.
Sun 10 Apr: 11 miles steady
Mon 11 Apr: 14 miles – start marathon bleed-out (protein foods only for 3 days).
Tue 12 Apr: 15 x 200, 200 jog rec.
Wed 13 Apr: 9 miles steady XC (start carbo loading pm)
