Eating a pretty healthy diet. Maybe it's the 3 or 4 beers a night.

You 3 or 4 beers a night a healthy diet?
Have you ever read about athletes eating the same amount of food, but spread over maybe 5 smaller meals?? I did this, and it was very dramatic.
Don't worry so much about how many meals... but instead don't let more than 3-4 hours go without eating. Even if it's just a nibble. Don't overload the meals (hard part). With frequent meals, your body learns to burn quick, because it "knows" it has another meal coming soon. It took my metabolism about 2+ weeks to noticeably speed up and lose weight this way... and I was shocked. The metabolism will stay that way too, even with some cheating. But give it a little time before cheating.
IMO, this is a can't-miss plan.

Okay, shitty diet. I eat a couple doughnuts during the day too. My gut now jiggles as I run. I'm on my way to becoming a sumo wrestler. 70 miles a week, dammit.
300-600 calories a day in junk calories doesn't sound too bad.:) At least it will be easy for him to lose weight. Cut the beer and lose 1lb without even trying.

Okay, I like mayo on everything. Salmon tonight doused with mayo. 70 miles, dammit.
The longer this thread lasts the more we learn your *healthy* diet is actually horrible. I hope this is a good sounding board for you.
Donuts
Mayo "on everything"
Almost a six-pack per night
What else you got?

I'm having a few Bloody Marys this morning after my morning hill workout. Will do some pool running in the PM.
And you're doing a great job so far!

they did a study with that 5-meals a day deal. doesn't help. or rather, it only helps when you cut your total caloric intake. again, eating all the time isn't going to help you lose weight unless you eat less overall.
google it.
Give up the beer and doughnuts for 2 weeks and see what happens. Sound to me that you could be putting 1000+ uneeded "empty" calories per day. 3500 calories/ per pound of fat
F*** off, troll. 0.2/10
