I'm a high school junior, and my state meet is in two months. Over the summer I ran for an hour basically 6 days a week, with only a few long runs, no two a days, and nothing like tempos, fartleks or hills. I don't know why, I guess i was lazy. Recently however I've been struck by a wave of determination and as a junior, the #1 guy on my team, (haha) I want to make an impact. I've already started stepping it up with a structured training plan since I'm working out with the team now and I'm doing with whole works of two a days, etc, and most importantly I'm really pushing myself. Will two months of this rigor be enough to make a big impact?
