Has anyone ever alternated between shoe brands when training? i am currently useing 3different pairs, an asics racers pair,a nike pair and a brooks pair. I would guess it does cause injury opposed to haveing 3 pairs of the exact same shoe?

Using different shoes in training is generally a good idea. Alternating between shoes of different brand, or even model, will work the muscles in you feet more because of the different way shoes a designed/made. Only marathon+ runners should worry about multiple shoes, and even two will do. Plus it makes you feel like a more serious runner, which is more important
You are the first person I ever heard of who alternates between 3 pairs of shoes that are different brands. I don't know anyone else who does this. You are setting a new trend. Hey, do you have a shirt from one company and shorts from another? How about this. Asics shoes, Nike socks, Adidas shorts, and a NB Top. Now that would be something.
If all 3 fit well and are appropriate for your gait, its a good idea.
You suck at writing, what the hell are you even trying to say?
It is quite common to use 2 or more different shoe brands at one time. I hate ignorant replies i must say.
How about alternating brands on each foot, so one day your left is wearing Nike while the right goes with Brooks, the next day it's Asics on the left and Nike on the right, and so on. Think of all the possible combinations! This would really work the different muscles. Of course on race day you'd want to go with a matched set, but you could be really bold (like that old goat McCain) and mix you your flats too! Any potential drawbacks?
