I have had a rough summer of training, been struggling with training feeling sluggish and run down, my volume has been lower than the winter/spring so not quite sure what is the problem, had a few low key road races during the summer that were sub-par, I haven't takening a real break (i.e. week to 2 off) for quite a few years, now getting ready for some XC races in late Nov and trying to decide if a week off right now might be good thing, any thoughts
