I'm dealing w/ an achilles issue, and decided to leave my "flat" flats behind and get into something more stable. Anyone have any time in these? I had the original way back when, but haven't worn a saucony since.

we will find out in 1-2 weeks when they arrive.
the company says they are like a lightweight hurricane (my fav trainer)
....stay tuned....
I love these shoes (womens model, 6.6 oz). I'm a slight overpronator, and they have the perfect amount of stability. They are great for speedwork and racing. I've raced up to the half marathon so far, plus done a couple of faster 20+ milers in them.
Some observations:
- They seem to wear down pretty quickly. I'll be surprised if I can get 250 miles out of them before they start feeling "flat".
- Once I get up above 21 miles, my feet start to feel tired. I'll probably try a newish pair in my October marathon, but I'm prepared to have very tired feet in the last few miles.
As for fit, they have a very narrow heel, average midfoot width and a nice, wide toebox. They run small too, so I size up a half size.
What I like best about these shoes is that they are so comfortable and light that I'm not really aware of them when I'm wearing them. I can't say that about any other running shoe I've tried. I'm sure they'll do something to screw them up with the next "upgrade," which is why I'm hoarding them.

Good description there. I have them and I love them. Running my Half marathon in them this fall. Slight overpronator just like Pfitzinger. I've been doing my speedwork in them and I havent noticed any discomfort. I used to have an achilles issue too back in the day. Good luck with the fastwitch 3.
Thanks much for the info. I'm going from an Adizero to this Fastwitch - so I should size up 1/2 size, in your opinion? Thanks again. Haven't tried Saucony in quite awhile.
Actually, my mistake. No, you don't have to size up a half size for the Fastwitch. I was thinking of the Asics DS-Trainer.
