I came across this thread in another forum and was wondering if anyone on here has ever thought of this or done it.
"Alright nobody probably knows what this is, but surprisingly it involves running and camping. I figured you guys might wanna do this so I'd enlighten you.
1. Pick a good location(can't be too isolated, and too settled probably woudn't be too great either, we went to Door County)
2. Get a suitable pack(Must be small such as a fanny pack or very small backpack, don't use a pleather bathroom bag like I did)
3. Buy supplies(Clifbars, emergency blankets/some other very lightweight or compact blanket, water bottles, dope, other energy food, must bring knife just to be tough)
4. Clothes(Spandex is very good due to limited pack space, bandanas are good to make people think you're crazy)
5. Now you just drive to the starting point and start running. During the run you stop at various locations looking for free food and drink. You also steal fruit from people's yards if at right time of year and randomly roam across their property.
At night, after covering about 20 miles, you find some obscure location you deem suitable and set up camp. [We were in some cave on Lake Michigan] Somehow try to make yourself comfortable although it's probably not possible and you will not sleep more than 2 hours. Kill snakes with pocket knives. Make fire with flint. Might want ear plugs 'cause tin foil blankets are loud.
In the morning go find somewhere to eat something and bathe in a park or wherever. Then just run/walk/take naps on gas station lawns. This really makes you feel like a tramp; it's quite exhilarating."
