I have gone back and forth on what is the "best" approach to strength training. I have borrowed some ideas from some of the top athletes etc. I like the approach by Flanagan on the flotrack video. I also got my hands on the Jay Johnson video...very good stuff on there.
So when using traditional weight room movements, what are you guys focusing on? Do you start with maxing out and then work off of progression and percentages of that unitl the next test? Which exercises?
In a team setting, I struggle with finding the best way to make them accountable. Station rotating? Certain number of seconds at each station etc.?
Any ideas would be appreciated.
