I am doing 50 mpw, with two track workouts per week. Is this enough?

How many steeples are you jumping?

28! My goal is the Olympic B standard in 4 years (I want to make the Canadian team).
Ok it looks like you have the right idea but you should probably gradually introduce more mileage. You can gradually increase so that in 2 years time you will be at 70-80 miles per week, this should be enough but to get the best possible results you might even need 80-90 further down the road depending on how your body adapts to mileage. 2 workouts per week is the ideal for probably 90% of steeplers, just remember you need a strong focus on strength especially core work and never neglect your speed completely no matter the season. Remember, the steeple is more similar to the 5k than the 3k but requires a little more strength in order to combat total-body fatigue as you hurdle. Hope to see you on the Canadian team down the road!
in your off season, Sept-Jan? you need to run 90-110 mpw to build a really good endurance base. Transition to track work in the early spring with some interval hill workouts.
during the spring/summer season, your mileage will come down as your quality goes up and you rest for important races and peaking.

hahaahahahah
2 years to go from 50 to 70-80? hahahahahahahahahahaa
Why not 1 week?
Thanks for the advice and encouragement! I'm looking at the whole 4-year cycle, so the long-term view is helpful.
