You have no heart and no appreciation of distance running if her last lap did not bring some emotion to the surface. It was obvious she was in a lot of pain. To me she just showed what distance running is all about.

To me she just showed that she has really bad form.
Your failure at basic English makes ME cry.

I could not agree more. It was a courageous effort by an outstanding athlete.

bitch.
Paula is an amazing, courageous athlete and human being...Well tried, Paula --- you make us all better !
She underperformed. Once again. Watching Radcliffe suck does nothing for me.
Yaaawn, and proving what exactly?
If she was smart, she'd have dropped out and saved it for another day. And no one would have thought less of her.
Now she just looks stupid, bobbing along like some kind of grotesque jerky rag doll.

You're not a runner, are you?
watching on cbc there was a post race interview in which she broke down when asked what her medical team told her before when she tried to make the comeback.. it was moving. she has huge passion, more than the avg. joe

Fixed.
Yeah, a huge passion for removing a monkey that ain't going anywhere. I like how the commentators speculated that at London 2012 she would only be 38 and could try to pull what Tomescu just did at age 38.

i got nothin
At 38, odds will be against her, but I'd love to see her medal there and wouldn't rule it out. She ran as hard as she could, which is all you can ask for.
Go to any major city marathon and you will see many people in a lot more pain than she was in.

Not among the elite runners.

How do you know how much pain she was in?
