I got a pair of lunaracers last week. I have put in runs of 7, 10, 5, 14, and 13 miles on them already. They honestly seem to feel pretty cushioned and protective for their light weight. Also, alot of times after 10 miles or so the bottom of my feet start to hurt a little in the forefoot, both in regular trainers and racers, but in the lunars my feet still felt fine after the longer runs, so i think they'd be suitable for an everyday trainer, at least for me. But yeah, they dont seem like they will last very long with such minimal use of rubber in the outsole, but then again the lunartrainers have the same issue.
Also, while the upper in the racers is pretty comfortable and mold to your foot, it isnt all that breathable, so my feet sweat alot in them and the sweat doesnt wick away/evaporate as well.
