dude if you can get Nike to make you a DS trainer.. maybe Asics could make you an Elite??????
I'm liking the new Brooks Axiom 3... pretty darn light, but supportive. Got it in red...
Brooks are the way to go.
How about you go to a store and try them on?
Yeah, it should boil down to which shoe fits YOUR foot best and has the best ride for YOUR gait. I personally have been a fan of the DS Trainer for years, because it works great for me right out of the box. It replaced my previous favorite Asics shoe in their product line, the Exult. I tried the Axiom and the fit and ride were sorta sloppy by comparison, but again that's for MY foot and gait. I got some Elixir 2s but haven't used them yet, they are part of my reserve inventory in the original box in the closet. I had a pair of the original Nike Zoom Elite and they were okay, better than the Axiom yet still not as good as the DS Trainer was for me.
The Elixers are very similar to the DS trainer, I think you'll like them.
