Is there anyone of knowledge that can present some information about how our three 1500 meter runners train during the year?
I've read in the past that both Lagat & Lomong have stated that they had little to no speed training leading up to the Oly Trials. That seeemed a tad interesting reading that they were doing tempos from 5 minute miles down to 4:40 or so, not touching the mile pace that they will be using this summer, although they were able to run 1:45 to 13:16 off that type of training.
