I was tempted to bump last week's thread, which had a really good discussion going, but thought I'd stick with the practice of starting a new thread each week.
Got new bloodwork results from midway through this chemo cyle, and was stunned to learn that they were totally normal . . . hemoglobin was over 13 for the first time since May. So, I now officially feel sheepish about walking up hills. (There's a custom hereabouts that if you're caught walking up a hill, it gets named after you. How embarrassing if some of the mild inclines I've been walking lately were to be called "Mount Humbled" forever!)
I celebrated my normal counts by doing a "long run" of 6.5 miles - with a little walking thrown in to make it an even hour. That's far and away my longest run in a couple of months. I wish I could say it felt great, but it didn't. I may not be anemic, but I'm still out of shape.
(It was great to hear from Sarah . . . wishing you a continued recovery from injuries. Your description of those rehab instruments and techniques was certainly colorful!)
Eager to hear how everyone else is doing . . .
