I'm a college runner, looking to peak for the 8k distance. I've just been doing the same thing, day in/day out; mileage with some strides here and there. I'm at 75 this week and am starting to wonder if it is time to mix things up with workouts. Tempos? Hill Reps? Mile Reps?
How should I fit them into my weekly schedule? The latter of a double or in the a.m?
