i have it and have asked jeff if he would re-print it. sorry to say it won't be done right away. it might happen with a large demand. it is too large (for me) to put on line.

I'm sitting here at my desk looking at 15 weeks of training log by Jeff. I got mine through the woman I was dating at the time - back in 2000. General workouts are generic. Workouts themselves are more detailed. Focus is on the 10,000.
Example - 3 mile warm-up on trail.
1 x 1600 @ 4 sec/400 slower then threshold, jog 400
1 x 1600 @ 2 sec/400 slower then threshold, jog 400
1 x 1600 @ threshold, jog 400
1 x 1600 @ 2 sec/400 slower then 10K DP, jog 800
1 x 800 @ 2 sec/400 slower than 10K DP, jog 400
1 x 800 at 10K DP, jog 400
The week of World XC Champs (3/18/00)
hard workout was set for Monday. Consisted of -
2 x (800 @ 10K DP, jog 2.5 minutes, 800 1 sec/400 faster than 10K DP, jog 2.5 minutes, 800 @ 1 sec/400 sloqwer than 5K DP, jog 2.5 minutes, 800 @ 5K DP) Jog 2.5 minutes
Easy shakeout strides.
All the workouts are based upon your VO2 and are broken down for grass surfaces, roads and track. Difference between grass and track is appx. 4.5 seconds per 400. The volume of the workouts is impressive. If you have 90 minutes to 2 hours to workout they are doable, if you are constrained by time, you have to cut the numbers.
